Fees and Processing Times
The standard naturalisation fee is €970 for a single applicant and €1,238 for a married couple or registered partners. There are lower fees for minor children and stateless or asylum permit holders. Fees for the option procedure (a simplified route available to some) are lower.
The Immigration and Naturalisation Service aims to decide your application within one year. Processing may take longer if your case is complex or if additional information is required.
